Years building search visibility

Most service businesses do not lose customers to better companies

They lose them to whoever shows up first.

Someone in your area has a problem right now. They pick up their phone, type in what they need, and three businesses appear on the map. They call one of them. Usually the first. Often before they have read a single review properly.

If you are not in those three, none of the rest of it matters. Not your qualifications, not your twenty years in the trade, not the fact that you are better than the company that got the call.

That is the whole game in local search, and it is decided in about four seconds.

Four things you can check in the next ten minutes

You do not need an audit to work out whether you have a problem. Open your phone and check these.

Where you sit on the map

Search what you do plus your town. Are you in the top three? Are you on the map at all?

Your reviews against theirs

Open the map, look at the three businesses above you, and compare their reviews with yours. If the businesses above you consistently have a stronger review profile, that is one competitive gap worth paying attention to.

When you last replied to a review

Scroll through your reviews and find the last one you replied to. Then do the same on the profile ranking above you. If they consistently respond and you do not, that is one trust signal customers can notice when comparing businesses.

What is missing from your listing

Check whether your core services are listed accurately and nothing important is missing. Complete information helps customers and Google better understand what your business offers.

If any of those made you uncomfortable, that is the work. That is what we do.

Why work with us

We report on calls, not rankings

Every month you see how many people called you from Google, how many asked for directions, and how many clicked through to your site. Rankings are how we get there. They are not the point.

We work with a small number of clients

There is a limit to how many businesses one team can do this properly for. When we are full, we are full, and we will say so.

We learn your industry, not just your website

Every trade has its own rules, its own busy season, and its own credentials that matter. We work those details into your website so customers and search engines can better understand why your business deserves to be trusted.

No contracts

Rolling monthly. If it stops being worth it, you stop. We would rather earn the next month than trap you into twelve.

Who we work with

We work with service businesses where each new customer has real value. Pest control companies. Law firms. Dental and medical clinics. Trades contractors.

What they have in common is not the industry. It is that their customers search locally, decide quickly, and rarely go past the first few results.

Before we take your money

Not every visibility problem is a visibility problem.

If your rating sits below the businesses ranking above you, or your reviews have gone quiet, or nobody has answered a customer in months, we will say so on the first call. Bringing more people to a profile that is not ready just means more people choosing someone else.

In that situation we fix the order before we spend your budget. Reputation first, then visibility. It takes longer to explain and it costs us the easy sale, but it gives the visibility work a much better chance of turning into customers.

What we do

Three things, and nothing else. Everything below is part of getting you found by people nearby who need what you do.

Local SEO

Getting your business into the map results when someone nearby searches for what you do. Your Google Business Profile, your service areas, your reviews, and the pages that back them up.

Content

Pages written for the way your customers actually search, covering every service you offer and every area you cover. Written to be read by people and picked up by search engines and AI assistants.

Authority Building

Getting your business mentioned and linked to across the web. This helps build authority and gives search engines stronger signals about who you are, what you do, and why your business matters.

How it works

Three phases. You will always know which one you are in and what is happening in it.

Week 1

Finding out what is actually wrong

We go through your Google Business Profile, your listings across the web, your site, and the businesses ranking above you. By the end of the first week you have a written summary of what is holding you back, in order of what matters most. The quick fixes start the same week.

Weeks 2 to 8

Fixing the foundations

Profile rebuilt properly. Listings corrected across the directories that count in your country. Service pages written for the areas you actually cover. A system for asking customers for reviews that does not feel awkward.

Week 9 onwards

Building position

Content for each service and each area. Mentions and links from places that carry weight. Ongoing profile management to keep your information accurate, your reviews handled, and your profile useful to potential customers.

What to expect and when

Timelines vary by market, competition, and starting position. Some profile and website fixes can begin showing movement relatively quickly, while stronger and more consistent local visibility usually takes longer. The same is true for enquiries: meaningful growth builds over time rather than on a fixed schedule. We do not guarantee a top-three position or a fixed timeline, especially in competitive areas.

Questions we get asked

Why is my business not showing up on Google Maps?

Start by searching your exact business name. If the profile does not appear at all, check whether it is verified, suspended, duplicated, or otherwise restricted. If it appears for your business name but not for searches like ‘plumber near me’ or ‘dentist in [town]’, the profile exists. The issue is local visibility.

Google says local results are mainly shaped by relevance, distance, and prominence. That means we look at how well your profile matches the search, how complete and accurate your business information is, your reviews and online authority, and how far you are from the person searching. Different problems need different fixes.

Put both profiles side by side and compare what you can actually influence: categories, business information, reviews, services, photos, website, and the authority built around the business online. Then remember the one factor you cannot optimise away: distance from the searcher.

A more complete services list can help customers and Google better understand what a business offers, but leaving a service blank does not automatically make a business ineligible for that search. The goal is to find the real gaps rather than copy whatever the competitor is doing.

There is no fixed number. Compare your review count, rating, and recent activity with the businesses that consistently appear above you in your market. Google says more reviews and positive ratings can help local ranking, while helpful replies show customers that the business is responsive.

The goal is not to chase a magic number. Build a steady, genuine flow of reviews from real customers and respond to them consistently.

There is no universal timeline. A healthy profile in a lower-competition market can move sooner than a new or weak profile in a crowded city. We look for early movement after the foundational fixes, then judge the campaign by stronger visibility and more enquiries over a longer period.

We do not promise a top-three position by a certain date because competition, distance, relevance, prominence, and starting position are different for every business.

Local SEO cost depends on the number of locations or service areas, the condition of your profile and website, the competition in your market, and how much content and authority work is needed. A single-location business that needs cleanup is a very different job from a campaign covering several towns or suburbs.

We review the business first, then quote the work it actually needs, so you know what you are paying for and why.

They solve different problems. Google Ads can put you in front of customers quickly while the budget is running. Local SEO usually takes longer, but it builds assets (your profile, reviews, service pages, and authority) that can continue contributing over time.

If you need enquiries now, ads can bridge the gap while your local visibility builds. Once that visibility becomes stronger, you can decide how much paid spend still makes sense for the business.

Usually not, and we will tell you if you do rather than selling you a rebuild.

Often the better move is to improve the site you already have. Common problems include slow mobile performance, weak service pages, unclear service areas, or a site that does not make the next step obvious. If several different services are squeezed into one generic page, dedicated service pages can make the offer clearer to customers and search engines.

We only recommend a rebuild when the current structure, technology, or user experience is genuinely holding the work back.

For urgent local searches, your Google Business Profile can be one of the most important parts of the journey because Maps is often prominent and customers can call, get directions, or compare reviews without visiting your site first.

But the website still matters for relevance, trust, service detail, organic visibility, and conversion. We do not treat them as substitutes. Your profile can help you get considered, while your website often helps the customer decide whether to contact you.

Sometimes, but there is no switch that guarantees it. AI search systems can use information from across the web when answering questions, and different systems do not all work in exactly the same way.

For Google’s AI search features, the same core SEO principles still apply. For systems such as ChatGPT Search, being accessible to search crawlers and having reliable, relevant information available across the web can help your business be discovered.

In practical terms, keep your website and Business Profile accurate and build genuine third-party evidence of your business through reputable directories, industry associations, local coverage, and relevant mentions. We do not promise AI recommendations, and we do not manufacture fake mentions to chase them.

Local SEO is the work that makes your business appear when somebody nearby searches for what you do. It covers your Google Business Profile, your reviews, the other websites that list your business, and the pages on your own site that cover each service and each area.

One thing that makes it different from ordinary SEO: the result changes depending on where the person searching is standing. You can be first for someone two streets away and invisible to someone five miles away, on the same search, at the same moment. That is why there is no single ranking to report, and why anybody showing you one number is showing you almost nothing.

We currently work with service businesses in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia. Our research, content, reporting, and outreach processes are built around those markets, so that is where we know we can do the work properly.

We do not currently take campaigns that require us to work primarily in a language or local market we do not understand well enough. We would rather be clear about that than sell a service we cannot deliver properly.

Our team is in Lahore, Pakistan. Our clients are in the UK, the US, and Australia.

What that means in practice: you speak to the same two people every month rather than being passed around an account management team, and we work around your hours for calls. What it does not mean is that we are guessing about your market. The directories, review platforms, and trade bodies that matter in your country are the ones we work with every week.

Find out where you actually stand

We will look at your Google Business Profile, your position on the map for your main services, and the businesses ranking above you. You get a straight answer about what is fixable and what it would take.

No cost, no pitch deck, and no obligation. If we do not think we can help, we will tell you that instead.
